At Escro Chain, your privacy is a top priority. Unlike many platforms, we do not retain your sensitive personal data. Below is exactly how this works.


1. Our Core Privacy Commitment


  • We do not store users' sensitive information in our database or on our servers. Once your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is complete, this data is permanently deleted — not archived, not retained in backups indefinitely. We only ever ask for sensitive personal data once, solely to verify your identity and complete KYC in compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and KYC regulations. We do not collect or request any physical documents (such as printed or scanned government IDs) from users, specifically to minimize privacy exposure.

2. Information We Collect


  • Personal Details: Name, email address, wallet address, phone number, and contact information — used for account setup and communication.
  • Identity Verification Data: Information needed to confirm your identity for KYC/AML purposes. This is processed at the time of verification only and is not retained afterward (see Section 1).
  • Transaction Data: Details related to your escrow transactions, wallet addresses, payment history, and platform interaction logs — retained only as needed to operate the service.

3. How We Use Your Data


  • Identity Verification: To meet AML and KYC regulatory requirements — a one-time process, after which sensitive verification data is deleted.
  • Transaction Processing: To initiate, manage, and release escrow payments securely.
  • Communication: To send transactional alerts, security updates, and respond to your inquiries.

4. Data Protection


  • Any data we do retain is stored on encrypted servers with strict access controls.
  • All communications are protected via SSL encryption.
  • We do not share or sell your data to third parties.
  • Sensitive KYC data is never part of long-term storage — it exists only transiently, for the duration of the verification process.

5. Your Rights


You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request corrections to inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Request deletion of your account and any remaining data, subject to regulatory requirements.
